Understand how using Postworks makes your post climate positive
Postworks is climate positive.
How we calculate our carbon footprint
Our carbon footprint, calculated annually, is in line with the Greenhouse Gas (GHG) Protocol emission scopes, which is the most widely used, and accepted methodology for greenhouse gas accounting. It categorises emissions into three groups or ‘scopes’: direct emissions, indirect emissions within direct control, and indirect emissions outside of direct control.
Postworks invest in a 100.5 Megawatt wind power project to offset the carbon generated.

Paper and envelopes
All envelopes and paper used by Postworks are certified by the Forest Stewardship Council (FSC), the international organisation that promotes responsible management of the world’s forests. Additionally, 99% of paper and cardboard waste generated through Postworks is recycled.
What else do we do?
For every 10 trees of paper that Postworks use, we're planting 11. That equates to thousands of trees every year, planted across the world.
What's next?
The next 12 months promises to be another year of exciting environmental announcements as the company’s trailblazing Environmental Strategy is fulfilled by further investments into green energy, supply chain enhancements and increased efficiencies within the production processes.
James Booker, Postworks CEO, said:
“This is not just a responsibility of businesses, it should be an expectation to take active steps to protect this planet. After all, it’s the only one we’ve got.”
